We need low-cost, comprehensive public transit which gets people quickly to work or school. This will give us clean air and a more productive local economy.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see more local support for young families. There are a lot of programs out there (Head Start, Healthy Families, WIC, etc.), but the qualification thresholds are so low that struggling families aren't eligible unless they are basically homeless and starving.
